Custom integrations and applications for Hootsuite enterprise clients

The challenge

Enterprise clients at Hootsuite's scale have needs that go far beyond the standard product. They have existing CRM systems, internal approval workflows, compliance requirements, and reporting pipelines that need to talk to Hootsuite's platform — and off-the-shelf connectors don't cut it. Hootsuite needed a trusted engineering partner capable of building reliable, secure, maintainable integrations for their most demanding clients, without the overhead of hiring and managing internal headcount for every custom engagement.

What we built

We've served as Hootsuite's external engineering team for custom enterprise work since 2022. Each engagement is different: some involve building OAuth-authenticated integrations between Hootsuite's API and enterprise CRMs like Salesforce; others involve custom React applications embedded in the Hootsuite dashboard, tailored to a specific enterprise client's approval or reporting workflow. We work directly with Hootsuite's product and account teams to scope, build, and deliver — operating as an extension of their engineering org rather than a traditional vendor.
