Web3 & Blockchain

We build blockchain applications that go beyond hype — smart contracts that are auditable, DeFi protocols that are secure, and dApps that real users can actually use. We work across EVM chains and bring the same engineering standards we apply to our traditional software.

About this service

Blockchain development rewards the same things as any other software engineering: careful architecture, rigorous testing, and a healthy scepticism about complexity. Smart contracts are immutable once deployed — bugs don't get patched, they get exploited. That reality shapes how we approach every Web3 project: test coverage that would make a traditional software engineer blush, staged deployment with careful audit preparation, and a bias toward well-understood patterns over clever novel mechanisms.

We've built across EVM-compatible chains — Ethereum mainnet, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base — and we work with the full smart contract stack: Solidity, Hardhat, Foundry, OpenZeppelin. Our dApp frontends use React with wagmi and viem, connecting to contracts through battle-tested patterns that handle the edge cases of wallet interactions and chain state.

On the application layer, we bring the same full-stack engineering capability we apply to traditional web products: authentication via wallet, on-chain event indexing via The Graph or custom indexers, and off-chain data management with proper synchronization with chain state.

Common use cases

  • DeFi protocols
  • NFT platforms
  • DAOs
  • Token launches
  • Blockchain gaming
  • On-chain loyalty programs
  • RWA tokenization

What we deliver

Smart contracts

Solidity smart contracts with comprehensive test suites, audit preparation documentation, and deployment pipelines.

DeFi protocols

AMMs, lending protocols, staking mechanisms, and yield strategies built on audited, proven patterns.

NFT platforms

Minting platforms, marketplaces with royalty enforcement, and collection management tools.

dApp frontends

React-based dApps with wallet connection (wagmi/viem), transaction UX, and real-time chain state.

Token engineering

ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155 tokens, vesting contracts, governance mechanisms, and tokenomics implementation.

On-chain data indexing

The Graph subgraphs and custom indexers that make on-chain data queryable for your application layer.

How we work

01

Protocol design

We design the smart contract architecture before writing Solidity — mapping state, access control, and upgrade patterns. Decisions here are hard to reverse on-chain.

02

Contract development & testing

We write Solidity with Foundry or Hardhat, targeting >95% test coverage with unit tests, integration tests, and fork tests against mainnet state.

03

Audit preparation

We produce audit-ready documentation — NatSpec, invariant descriptions, and a threat model — and coordinate with audit firms if needed.

04

Deployment & dApp

Staged deployment (testnet → mainnet), dApp frontend delivery, and on-chain monitoring setup to catch anomalies post-launch.

Innovibe is one of a small number of Web3 development agencies in British Columbia with production smart contract experience. We work with projects across Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, and Canada — bringing the same rigorous engineering approach to blockchain development that makes traditional software reliable. If you're building a Web3 product in Canada and need a team who understands both the on-chain and off-chain sides, we're the team.

Frequently asked questions

Do you do smart contract audits?+

We don't provide independent audits (that requires an arms-length relationship), but we write audit-ready code with comprehensive tests and documentation, and we coordinate with audit firms on your behalf. We can recommend reputable audit partners.

Which blockchains do you work with?+

We work across EVM-compatible chains: Ethereum mainnet, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, and others. Chain selection depends on your project requirements — gas costs, finality time, liquidity, and ecosystem fit all factor in.

Can you build a Web3 product for a Canadian company?+

Yes. We work with Canadian Web3 projects regularly and understand the evolving Canadian regulatory landscape around crypto assets and token offerings. We build products designed to be compliant and adaptable as regulations develop.

Do you build the full product or just the contracts?+

We can do either. Some clients need only smart contract development and audit preparation. Others need the full stack — contracts, indexer, dApp frontend, and backend. We're set up to handle both.
